About Me

You’re here because you’re considering me as an instructor, scientific collaborator, employee, mentor, or acquaintance. Regardless of the role, I believe in presenting a complete picture of who I am. In today’s specialized world, it’s easy to compartmentalize our professional identities. But I’ve found that our experiences and interests often contribute to unexpected insights and innovative solutions. By sharing a holistic view of myself, I hope to give you a better understanding of how I might contribute to our potential collaboration or working relationship.

Documents
#

I keep my professional history visible to show the work behind the credentials. These files track the iteration and growth required to build a career.

Applications
#

Successful applications are rarely shared, turning the hiring process into a black box. I publish my materials here—covering graduate school, industry, and academia—to expose the hidden curriculum of selection committees. These documents show exactly how I pitched my skills at each stage of my career.

Standardized Tests
#

I publish these scores to dismantle the genius myth. Students often disqualify themselves from graduate school because they do not feel “smart enough”. They see the Ph.D. and assume a history of effortless perfection. The data below, I hope, proves otherwise.

These scores are competent, but they are not exceptional. They did not predict my ability to do research; my persistence did. You do not need to be a prodigy to become a scientist. You just need to be the one who refuses to quit (i.e., probably more stubborn than others).
